We’re not a managed staffing service, a BPO company, or a job board. Instead, we use a network of professional talent scouts to find, screen, and test candidates on behalf of our clients.

Step 1: Let us know what you’re looking for

Every Somewhere search starts with a client inquiry. If you’d like us to find remote talent for you, simply let us know by filling out this form.

After you send in an inquiry, a project manager will get in touch to iron out the details of the role and help you create a job description.

2. We’ll kick off a search

After we work out the details of the job description, we’ll start the search. We’ll collect a small deposit at the beginning of the project, but that’s fully refundable.

Our team of professional talent scouts and assessors will then search for candidates who might be a good fit for the role. Aside from actively headhunting possible candidates, our team also sources candidates from our exclusive talent database, which we regularly update.

From there, each candidate will go through a rigorous screening process.

This process involves:
  • Skills assessments: We’ll evaluate the candidate’s technical qualifications. If you want to include a skills assessment test of your own, feel free to let us know so that we can include it in the process.
  • Communications assessment: We’ll test their proficiency in written and spoken English using a communication skills assessment tool (CSAT).
  • Behavioral interviews: In this interview, our talent scouts will assess if the candidate has the right interpersonal skills for the job.
  • Background checks: Lastly, we’ll check the candidate’s background to make sure that they’re who they say they are. We check in with their character references and ask for national security clearance if needed.

3. We’ll present vetted candidates to you

Successful candidates will be shortlisted and presented to you.

To get to know the candidates better, you’ll have the opportunity to set up 1:1 interviews with each of them. You can use this opportunity to know each candidate beyond their resumes and to personally see if they’d be a great fit for your company.

4. You hire the best candidate

The last step is for you to pick the best candidate for the job. If you end up liking all shortlisted candidates, you’re free to hire all of them as well.

After you make your choice, we’ll hand the relationship over to you. Your new remote employee will work directly with your company. Without a middleman getting in the way, you’ll have total freedom on how to onboard, train, and integrate your assistants into your team.


Unlike managed staffing services and business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, Somewhere does not charge a recurring fee. You’ll only pay for a one-time headhunting fee for every successful hire.
