My name is Daniela Salazar, I'm from Colombia, I studied foreign languages teaching and I'm highly proficient in English.I've worked as an English teacher at all levels of education for more than 10 years and after that I started experiencing in the BPO and virtual assistance market.

I've worked as a remote costumer service representative for Walmart, as well as a scheduler for gastroenterologist from Illinois, checking insurances policies and coverage, doing pre-appointment questionnaires while complying with HIPAA law during the process. My last experience was in the legal field, I was a virtual assistant in charge of retrieving medical and billing records from health providers. I followed up on a list of daily cases by sending legal requests, making sure providers comply with HIPAA law, and making payments through portals to get the records for medical claims in the court.
